a crazy, crazy day – micala
May 27, 2008
I woke up this morning at 6AM, after being up with the 3-year old from 1-2AM. Got ready, dropped the kid off at daycare and the husband off at work and headed back home to work. After being home for an hour, I left again for an orthodontist appointment until 10AM, then in to the office to meet with a co-worker. I left there around 11:45 and came home. At 1:30 I was messaged by a co-worker asking if I could be at my afternoon meeting (on campus, mind you) at 2PM instead of 3:30. So, I flew out the door to that meeting, parked in a lot on campus and walked as fast as I could to my meeting where the air conditioning was broken. After meeting for an hour, I drove *back* home to unlock the door for my daughter because I’d forgotten to that in my mad dash out the door. I then went *back* to campus to pick up the husband, then picked up the 3-year old and then the (almost) 17-year old. We came back to the house, dropped off the 17-year old and then loaded up the car to head out again for the end-of-year field hockey picnic for the oldest daughter. I was very glad to finally arrive home from this day around 7:45PM.

Today’s Thankful Thing: Finally being home, sitting on the sofa and feeling the slightly cool breeze blow through the room.
